The Opengovist: July 26, 2020 Edition

The Office of Open Government (OOG) releases this July 26, 2020 Edition of its Bi-Annual Newsletter, The Opengovist. In this issue we examine the Legislation that was put in place by the D.C. Council to help us navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. Those new laws had impacts on the operation Open Meetings Act and Freedom of Information Act laws in D.C., which the Newsletter highlights. OOG also furnished this advice prominently on open-dc.gov. The Newsletter also contains important information about open government related litigation and the office's activities. As many of us are adjusting to working from home, remote school, and the pandemic, we hope you find the issue informative and useful. Please remain safe!
