- Welcome Back Introduction
- Committee Updates: No Committee updates commission will have virtual engagement for the rest of the calendar year and will work with MOWPI to engage with community partners in a virtual copacity
- Meetings: Next Commission Meeting will be held on October 13, 2020 commission executive officers nominations will be taken at the October meeting.

- Shares presentation of COVID-19 priorities, Post testing sites
- Importance of 4 priorities for community leaders staying informed, supporting the community, prioritizing your health, and staying engaged including examples of each the administration is doing including situational updates, community grants, testing and flu shot resources and community leader townhalls.
- Frequent check-in’s with Commissioners during COVID-19
- Reminders: Fill out census, next meeting, October 13, 2020, stay connected with Mayor Bowser and MOWPI via, newsletters and social media platforms for updates
- Overview of First Virtual Service Projects: Excel Academy girls engagement and Self-Care kits
- Open’s floor to Commission announcements
- Commissioner Safarti shares she is working for the US Census and emphasizes the importance of completing the census and encourages friends and neighbors to complete their census.
- Commissioner Brockington shares virtual event open to the public, the POSSE Foundation. The POSSE Foundation is celebrating its 31st year and its 10,000th scholar.
