Open Meetings Act Training for Local School Advisory Teams

On December 9, 2025, the Office of Open Government (OOG) presented "Open Meetings Act Training for Local School Advisory Teams" facilitated by OOG’s Attorney Advisor Joan Lelma.  The training provided a description of OOG’s functions and an in-depth examination of the application of the Open Meetings Act (OMA) to public bodies (in particular, Local School Advisory Teams), with a brief question and answer section which covered meeting procedures under the OMA.

This was a repeat of the training presented in November, with minor updates.
